A timeline of our history

For over 60 years we have been involved in powersupply technology for military and commercial applications. Today, advanced electronic power supply equipment supports critical systems such as data processing, navigation, communication, control and monitoring systems almost everywhere in the world - on land, at sea and in the air.

Euroatlas, headquartered in Bremen, Germany, specializes in offering customized solutions for high-performance technology in power conversion for various industries including naval submarine and surface vessels, aviation, and mobile land-based applications. These solutions are designed to provide the highest reliability, power density, and energy efficiency in challenging environmental conditions.

In 2021, Euroatlas was acquired by Mimir Group from the Finnish Wärtsilä Corporation. Mimir Group is a global investment firm known for acquiring non-core business units of large corporations and companies in need of operationally focused ownership. Foundation of VAROATLAS by VARO, Inc. And ATLAS Elektronik as a 50/50 joint venture

1966

Krupp took over ATLAS Elektronik

1975

Rename to EUROATLAS after General Manager acquired VAROATLAS from VARO

1998

Rename to POWER PARAGON, INC. Become part of L3 Communications

2015

Wärtsilä aquired the MSI division from L3

2021

Mimir acquired EUROATLAS from Wärtsilä. EUROATLAS is operating as a standalone business
